Who Qualifies
To qualify for assistance a person or persons must
1. be elderly or disadvantaged,
2. be owner(s) of the home occupied,
3. live in a location served by Home Works, and
4. have no residents of the household with earned income.
In other words, the only household income must be from Social Security, Disability, Pension, or other unearned income sources. In addition, total household income must be at or below 50% of the poverty line, as specififed in the Very Low Income section of the HUD Income Guidelines.
